With economy as it is today, we're all looking for as many ways as possible to save money. You may think your income is stretched to the limit as it is but by using the following tips, you can save more money than you've ever thought possible.

• Clipping coupons can save you a lot on your grocery bill. The cost of the Sunday paper you'll more than get back with the money you'll save shopping for food, particularly when these same items are on sale. Only buy items that you use regularly when they are on sale. Do NOT shop when you are hungry.
• Lowering the thermostat 2 degrees may not make a difference in your room but will make a substantial difference in your heating bill.
• Consolidate your trips. If you have appointments, do your other errands on the same day. You'll save a lot in gas as well as wear and tear on your car.
• If you're an avid reader that buys books, consider going to your local library and checking out the same books. Do you really read books more than once?
